Piano Studio of Lola McIntyre
Lola McIntyre is a professional pianist who has taught at the college level. Currently she chooses to specialize in lessons for children in her own home studio in Michigan. Her studio has a low attrition, as students enjoy improving through a performance-centered program. Her students learn that consistent work feels good and meeting other piano friends as they grow their musicianship is fun. Her students have regularly won special honors, performance opportunities and contests. Several of Mrs. McIntyre's students have gone on in the field of music. But, ultimately the mission is to simply discover "making art happen through the piano as we build tomorrow's audiences." Mrs. McIntyre is published in the field of piano teaching, a requested speaker, holds a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Piano Repertoire (MM), and is nationally certified through Music Teachers National Association (NCTM). Currently Lola McIntyre serves as president of the Holland Piano Teachers Forum, the local chapter to Michigan Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association.
