About

I have been teaching for over 10 years, and work with students of all ages and all levels. Although my method is generally classical/traditional, lessons are custom-tailored to fit each and every student. Many of my students participate in the MTAC Certificate of Merit exams, as well as the ABRSM exams and receive high scores. Regardless of participation in these exams, I believe strongly in the importance of having a solid foundation built on proper piano technique, theory knowledge, ear-training and sight-reading skills, and, above all, expressive playing. Instilling students with a deep connection to music is my number one goal. I also offer lessons in music theory, AP Music Theory, and composition.
