About

Andrew Parsegian is a seasoned music teacher, composer, and producer based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He's performed at Carnegie Hall, toured nationally with major-label artists, and taught at many NYC area schools, including the 92nd St.Y, Children's Aid Society, Omega Institute, and Greenwich House Music School. Many of his students have studied at Juilliard Music School, Berklee Music School, and others. For over two decades, Andrew has taught music fundamentals, as well as classical, rock, soul, and jazz piano to students ranging in age from 5 to 75. His classical training with renown pianists such as Clive Swansborne and Edna Golonsky, and his work with a broad range of instrumentalists, singers, and filmmakers, all inform his receptive yet focused teaching style. His goal to help students grow their own relationship to music, in ways that are meaningful to them.
